Ellen Robertson and Sarah Jeanmougin have just turned 105. Pictured here at a previous celebration, the twin sisters are recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living set of twins in the world.
Robertson who suffered a stroke recently and is hard of hearing celebrated with family her family in Winnipeg. Her sister was for health reasons unable to travel from her home in Arizona.
They were born May 29, 1902 among 10 children in what now is Wolseley, Saskatchewan. At that time the area was still part of the Northwest Territories.
Robertson taught an hour-long aerobics class at her senior home until she turned 93.

Congrats !!!! My gram (Leora) is a twin also {Leora Wilhelm & Leatta Bear} they are 94 this year . I am so proud , she is my best friend , has taught me what a great person is I can only hope to be half the person she is , love,live&laugh R Farrell
My mother and her sister are 97..They both live in Boca Raton, Florida. The were born on 2/7/11
Sally lives with her daughter and is mentally sharp...but physically in poor shape.
Her sister Jean is physically in better condition but has Alzheimers and is in a rehabilitation facility.
Sally had 2 girls..
Jean had two boys...
I think they are the oldest living twins in Florida...not sure...trying to find out...If anyone knows, please let me know....

There is mention of two fraternal twins in Florida who are a little older, but I don't have anything to corroborate this.

I am from Hsv, Al. and My Grandmother and Great Aunt are paternal twins and they both are going to turn 96 yrs. old this year in Oct. I hope they both stay bright and healthy as they are now and have many more birthdays for my family and I to enjoy. :)
